1950's Mens balloon tire J.C higgins tank bicycle powder coated

up for sale is a real blast from the past here folks. We took this bike totally disassembled the bike. We then media blasted the bike and powder coated the intire bike tank and fork. Thats right all the paint work including all pinstrips has been powdercoated on. We then made new decals using the alps printer and installed those as well. We used wald replacement handlebars on this bike and is the only replacement part besides tubes and tires. Tubes and tires are brand new extra thick whitewall tires to give it that old classic look. The seat on this bike is the original saddle in very nice condition. The rear hub was a perry hub but there was some issues inside the hub so we replaced it with a bendix. One sweet looking ride is what we came up here folks. You would be the talk of the neighborhood if you pedalled this around the block sure to be a real headturner. WE also cleaned or polished every nut and bolt and chrome on this bike as well.the crank andstem has been powdercoated chrome. Severall hours of work on this bike here and the entire restoration of this bike was done all right here at thumasbikes.
